Cottage Rules
Be respectful of your environment and of other vacationers. We wish you a very pleasant stay at our cottage

The rules of this cottage are made to provide the best vacation experience to all our guests at any time of the year, your collaboration is very much needed and appreciated.

But first
 Take long walks in nature
 Listen to the birds
 Extend the mornings and laugh a lot
 Gather around a fire
 Take a glass of whine
 Allow yourself to do nothing
 Admire the sunset
 Watch at the stars
 Tell yourself that you love him
 What happens at the cottage stays at the cottage

Arrival and departure times
Arrival: 4:00 p.m.
Departure: 12:00 a.m.
Charges apply for late departure or early arrival. If the day of departure, the tenant does not leave the premises at the time mentioned, additional fees of $60/hour may apply.

Self-check in
Keys are provided on lock box a code will be assigned before arrival

Non-smoking cottage
The entire house is strictly non-smoking ie; cigarette, cigar, cigarillo, vape, chicha, cannabis, etc. are prohibited

Shoes and boots
Please take off your shoes, and bring slippers or socks. Shoes are a potential source of contamination.

Candles are strictly prohibited inside and outside

Responsibility of the tenant
The tenant is responsible for the rented cottage and its contents. He assumes full and entire responsibility for the people to whom he allows access.

Respect the maximum capacity
If there is more than allowed number of guests in the cottage and/or on the grounds, an additional fee of $50 will be charged. The cottage is designed to accommodate perfectly the number of guests specified in the listing. We are released of all liability in the event of an incident or accident and injuries due to overcapacity

Minimum age to rent the chalet
You must be 25 years of age or older. Hold a valid credit card with a photo ID, this same person is responsible for the premises and present on site during the stay of the rental. And he is held responsible for the actions of any other person on the premises of the chalet. He therefore assumes full and entire responsibility for the people with whom he has access. A group of people with an average age of 20 with only one person aged 25 or over will not be accepted.

Exaggerated mess
If party marks or an excessive mess is left in the chalet, a charge of up to $250 will be charged to the credit card on file of the responsible guest.
Party
Party, excessive noise, interior music too loud, is prohibited. Curfew from 11 p.m. till 7.00 am
Outside music must be reasonable. A complaint that requires compensation will be at your expense.
Respect for neighbors
The tenant agrees to respect reasonable rules of conduct and not to disturb the neighbors

Towels and bedding
The spa towels and bedding we provide shall remain inside the chalet.

Pets
Pets are not allowed

Building and property
Do not throw anything into sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers likely to obstruct the pipes. No disinfectant wipes, make-up removers and personal towels should be thrown into the toilet bowl. The chalet is equipped with a septic tank as well as a purification field.

Indoor and outdoor furniture
Do not move the interior and exterior furniture. Leave the chalet in the same order upon your arrival.

Power failure
We cannot be held responsible for any interruption beyond our control of the electricity services in Rivière Rouge.
Camping forbidden
It is not permitted to install a tent, tent-trailer, trailer, RV, marquee, inflatable games or various games.

ATV all-terrain vehicles
The use of snowmobiles (Ski-Doo), Quad, motocross, side-by-side vehicle and all other types of all-terrain vehicles (ATV) is not permitted in order to avoid damage for the purification field

Campfire
Campfire outside is possible according to the danger index issued by SOPFEU. Use only the outdoor fireplace provided for this purpose and in the designated area only. The campfire must be supervised by a responsible person at all times. It should be turned off every night before bedtime.
The inside fireplace is out of order please don’t use it please.

BBQ
The barbecue must remain in its designated location at all times. You must not move it or bring it closer to the chalet, for the risk of fire. Always turn off propane after use. In case of empty tank send us a text message to 514-451-5757 the word “propane tank” and use the spare one.

Nautical craft
• We ask you to use your life jackets for the use of the pedal boat. It is for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children and not 4 adults.
• Be extremely vigilant near water, be careful and responsible, an accident can happen so quickly. Do not leave young children unattended.
• Please secure the pedal boat when done with it.

Avoid theft
Be vigilant by always locking the doors and windows when you go out and when you leave. We are not responsible for theft and breakage.

When you leave
• Do not leave any trash or debris in the rooms and kitchen
• start the dishwasher
• Clean the BBQ and its utensils if it was used
• Pick up your waste, recycling and composting and deposit them in the outdoor bins.
• Close all doors and windows
• Turn off all lights and set thermostats at 15 degrees Celsius.
• Please ensure that you do not leave any personal items in the chalet.
• Close the hot tub cover
• Put the wet towels in the dryer before the arrival of the cleaning lady

The furniture and objects available to the tenant must be treated with care and used only for the purpose for which they are intended.
The tenant may not assign his rental rights or sublet the building.
Insects and wildlife are part of the pleasures of the countryside. We control them as best we can. Please do not encourage them by keeping the doors closed and putting food in containers or in the refrigerator.

Avoid bringing glass outside

Camera monitoring
We respect your privacy and intimacy the cameras on site are for security and insurance purposes only. Please be notified that the exterior entrances are under camera surveillance.
